Drop an image into the chat and ask for it as a slide. Pretty studies the picture and rebuilds what is inside it (the headings, the boxes, the table, the arrows) as real PowerPoint shapes on your deck’s master.
This is a rebuild, not a paste. Pretty will not drop your screenshot onto a slide and put a title above it. Text comes back as text you can edit, boxes come back as shapes you can recolour.

Attach the image

Drag the file over the pane. It shows Drop to reference in chat. Release, and the file is attached to your next message.
Attach several at once if the source spans more than one image. A .zip works too.
Typing a path like C:\Users\you\board.png or /Users/you/board.png does nothing. Pretty cannot reach your machine. The file has to be attached.

What Pretty can see

Images and PDFs are the only formats Pretty can look at rather than read as text. That is what makes the screenshot route work.

What reads well, and what does not

Rebuilds cleanly

  • Cropped tight to the content, no browser chrome or desk in frame
  • Shot straight on, not at an angle
  • Labels legible at full size. If you cannot read a box label, neither can Pretty
  • Clear structure: columns, a grid, a table, a left-to-right flow
  • Marker on a whiteboard, not pencil on lined paper

Comes back approximate

  • Photo taken from the side, so the grid is skewed
  • Glare or shadow across half the board
  • Tiny footnotes and axis labels that blur at full size
  • Dense screenshots where the interesting part is a tenth of the frame
  • Photographs inside the source that cannot be cut out cleanly
If only part of a screenshot matters, crop before you attach. Pretty rebuilds what it can see, and a tighter crop gets you a sharper reading of the part you care about.

Say what you want alongside the image

The image gives structure. Your message gives intent. Without it, Pretty guesses how faithful to be. Rebuild it as-is, on your template:

What happens to photos inside the image

If your source contains a photograph (a product shot, a headshot), Pretty places it as its own picture, cropped out of the source. If it cannot cut a photo out cleanly it leaves a placeholder or omits it, rather than keeping the surrounding text as pixels.

After the rebuild

The result is ordinary PowerPoint. Edit it by hand, or keep going in chat. Select the shapes you want changed and say what to change. See Editing existing slides. If the rebuilt block is something you will use again, select it and save it from the Components tab. See Components.
